Flywheel: Mechanical Calm
Help & Support
Flywheel · A mechanical toy in your palm No account or internet connection is needed to play.
Twist or drag
Hold the phone securely and gently twist your wrist back and forth. Both directions add speed. You can also drag around the gear’s rim or tap Spin clockwise. Stop brakes the wheel.
Choose your feel
Light accelerates easily and coasts longer. Balanced slows smoothly. Heavy accelerates more slowly and stops sooner. Changes in Settings take effect immediately.
No sound?
Enable Sound in the app, turn up media volume, and turn off Silent Mode. Check whether audio is routed to Bluetooth headphones. If another app or a call interrupted sound, return to Flywheel and spin again. Playback pauses when Flywheel goes into the background.
Motion or haptics unavailable?
Touch control still works without motion input. Haptics are offered only on supported hardware and may be unavailable in Simulator. You can change sound and haptics independently in Settings.
Small things to discover
As speed builds, the lamp brightens and steam can appear as the wheel slows. A steady nonzero speed produces a sustained resonance. After a total of 20 seconds of rotation, come to a full stop and wait for the copper infinity mark.
Report an issue
Include the app version, iPhone model, iOS version and steps that caused the problem. For missing audio, mention Silent Mode and headphones. A screenshot is helpful. Do not include passwords or other sensitive data. If the app closes unexpectedly, note the time so a matching diagnostic can be identified.
